So a friend of mine directed me to this show about this school president who's job is to be a maid at a cafe because it pays well and she's really poor. And I've been kinda thinking... Why do the Japanese have this weird fetish for maids? It's baffled me for the longest time now.

Because it's part of their culture and by integrating the theme into their Anime, it feels more Japanese like.
